On the topic of spam, we would like to share our viewpoint on how we use our email marketing as well as any information you provide us. First, you should know that we value your privacy and have even gone to the extent of modifying our business model to never sell any customer information we receive. You can view the complete details of our privacy policy online. Second, we make every attempt to insure we never send email about our company without confirmed permission from you, our customer. Below are the necessary steps one must take to actually receive any email marketing from HartvilleCollectibles.com once you have indicated such interest.
Whether you have indicated your wish to receive email updates from our online contact form or during the checkout process of an online purchase, the opt-in process has only begun. Here are the following steps you must take:
- Once you complete the request, your email address will be added to our marketing database with an unconfirmed status. This let's us know you've signed up and now the database is awaiting confirmation.
- Immediately following addition to the database, you will receive our current edition of the E-Newsletter which will contain opt-in links you must act on.
Simply click the Yes link to confirm your interest

If you have accidently requested email updates and you do not wish to recieve them, click the no link.
- Clicking either link will modify your status in the database accordingly as well as provide other technical information such as date/time and IP address. Failing to act on the given links will leave your email address in an unconfirmed state. We will typically send one follow-up reminder to any unconfirmed address within 30-days. Should no action be taken on your part after this, your status will be set to ignored and you will no longer receive email updates until you modify your status.

If you have in fact followed the necessary opt-in steps above and you are not receiving our E-Newsletter or if you have not received the initial email confirmation, it is likely your provider has filtered the message(s). Here are some steps you can take to help insure you receive every E-Newsletter."
- Verify you didn't make a typo with your email address.
- Check with your email provider regarding their spam filters to make sure email from info@hartvillecollectibles.com does not get filtered.
